Posts: 5 | Crimes of a Corperation Hey all, I'm new here but I've come w/ a sort of purpose. I'm just wondering if anyone else feels cheated in anyway.
Don't get me wrong, I love my 360 and I believe it is a huge step in innovation of the art, but I also believe that the corperation (microsoft) is holding the system back from it's full potentional purley in the name of sales and profit.
I'm just starting to wonder if the other controller ports on my 360 do anything at all, or if they are just for show. Anyway, if you feel anything like I feel, or need to pitch a you know who, this is the spot to do it, so hit me back people.

Posts: 5 | Look, you can be sarcastic if you want, but the fact of the matter is that there is little to no games DESIGNED for the 360 that UTILIZE the extra controller ports. I am an avid player and I can tell you, the only games for this console that alow you to play more than one player at a time are games that were origionally put out on Regular Xbox. |

Posts: 792 | Yeah having a 360 which grants you access to 95% of the current console games that are worth playing as well as almost every desirable accessory just sucks! Why can't my 360 fly around the room and bake me some damn waffles once in a while? |

Not everyone is an inpubescent 16 year old punk b_tch who hasn't worked a day in their f_cking life. I'm sorry you don't know the value of a dollar, let alone 400, but your getting stiffed on the capabilities of your "next-gen" system(or more likley, your mom's, seeing as how she probably paid for it). As for your foolish insults, go grow some pubic hair on your monkey lip before you go mistaking yourself for being cool because you can talk sh_t over the internet. |

You've lived man, so you must also realize that 400$ is enough to buy a car.
So why is it that you shouldn't expect more from a 400 dollar piece of equipment? Nearly every game that came out for Origonal X-box had some form of 4-man multi-player. So how do we go from the door step of multi-player innovation to a console that boasts multi-player on every-one of it's games, yet you can never have more than one player on one X-box?
That's all's I'm sayin. |

Posts: 522 | ok so you're pissed off about the portslike what do they actually do right? the fact is that these are not just controller ports they are USB ports where you can hook up your Mp3 player, charge and play kit, live vision cam, USB keyboard and such. The 360 is designed more or less to the usage of wireless controller. The guide button has 4 segments for a reason because where the green light appears it shows you are you controller 1,2,3 or 4. The thing with games not supporting 4 player mp on the same console is hardly Microsofts fault it's the developers choice. So before you write an angry letter to MS do your research please |

Posts: 5 | You have to realize that companies make deals, doesn't it seem a little convient for microsoft that you have to buy another console and another game if you just want to play w/ your boyz at the spot? |

That's all's I'm sayin. | What are you talking about? My 360 is consistently in use by 2, 3 or 4 players simultaneously. It's a big part of how I play, so I always make mention of local multiplayer when I write up a game. If your complaint is about the fact that there are only 3 USB ports, buy a $10 USB hub. Better still, spend the extra $10 for wireless controllers, it won't be an issue.
Edit: since you say there are NO games that support local mulitplayer, here are the ones I play or have played with 2 or more gamers on one console: Vegas, GoW, Madden, Tiger Woods, MVP Baseball, Worms, Heavy Weapon, NCAA football, NHL, NHL 2K, NBA Live, Bankshot Billiards, Bomberman, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, The Bigs, NBA Steet Homcourt, Mad Tracks, Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia, Small Arms, Dead or Alive 4, Def Jam Icon, Double Dragon, College Hoops 2K7, WWE Smackdown, Virtua Tennis 3, Top Spin 2, a dozen or so old school coin-op Arcade games, and coming soon...Halo 3. These are just off the top of my head as I sit here at work. There are many more.
Fact checking is a wonderful thing. Not being defensive when people respond to your insipid and erroneous assertations, even better.

Posts: 180 | For most of the games that I have played on one console I have had to make another profile for the players to log into. You can also have two different gamertags log into live and play on one console (PGR3 at the very least comes to mind for doing this).
Also if you look at the back of your game cases they have the multiplayer capabilities listed in green for one console and in red for online. |

Posts: 2,442 | did u realize that for multiplayer games each person has to make their own profile to sign in??
did you realize that the 360 preferred controllers are WIRELESS, so you have no need of a port... cheapo.
did you realize that most of the 360 ADDONS and ACCESSORIES use those ports more than a controller? (HDDVD, Camera, Intercoolers, ect)
did you realize that your a complete idiot?
did you realize that most of the members on this site are old enough to atleast hold a job, and buy their own 360's. many are adults with familes of their own. This isnt PlanetPEEs3, we dont need our mommies to take out loans for consoles we dont use.
did you realize that karma just totally burned the crap out of you with an "off the hip" list of games that are MP?? that may be like 1/3 or less of the actual list.
get a life, learn to read the back of the box, and the instructions included.
