Halo 3 - "coming along nicely"

Looking over the Bungie news page I notice Frankie's unofficial confirmation that Halo 3 is in development

This is what he wrote in the last paragraph of his TGS dairy...

I'm sure most of you already thought Halo 3 was in development but it's always nice to be sure

Beautiful. I cannot wait for it!

However, on that issue; I can't see it being ready by the time the PS3 hits, like Bill Gates was predicting. That's too soon for a next-gen title. Plus Halo 2 took what... Three years to make? (Something along those lines)

To be honest i'd rather they didn't rush it. I want the best possible single and multiplayer experience. Even Halo 2 didn't have that. It lacked at parts of the single player. Make it perfect Bungie

I bet Bungie is atleast making a really good teaser for that Xbox360 thing in October. Just to see it will spurn the interest of the masses and will sell systems....

well I hope he means Halo 3. As within context he means "we may not have announced it but its coming along nicely" he means they haven't announced what they are working on but IT is coming along nicely. For all we know it could be some totally other game. Like the pirate one they always wanted to finish. Not saying he isn't talking about Halo 3 but that just doesn't seem like any sort of real confirmation. I just pray that they are working on it and that they take all the time they want. I'd rather wait till 07 then get it in 06 and it suck

hey people i got great news!!I have found out that halo 3 is going to be released 06/01/06 omfg.

nice now we wont have to wait like an year for halo3!
reply to me yall if u have some further questions k.

i got lots of info over the xbox360 and games.yall know we can now pre-order our precious console rather that f*****g lame ps3.xbox360 is the best that has ever been made loll.

How about giving us proof of your claim?

I'd like to believe info on Halo 3's release, but if you're going to make a statement like that at least provide us a link.

Can you imagine what it'll be like? 50+ Player Halo matches.

I hope they implete a Humans VS Covenant mode this time, and not just the models. Think about it. That'd be awesome.

Unless this is coming from somewhere besides a retail location it's just a made up date for the purpose of reservations.

it's already like the third top seller for 360 games on either gamestop.com or ebgames.com i forgot which one lol. but that is funny because it still hasn't had a confirmation yet and already so many sells

haha well lets remember some people had Halo 2 preordered for almost two years and the date kept getting pushed back ^_^; one of my old roommates was like that I thought he was going to kill someone after awhile! I hope they just confirm something soon. Maybe just maybe we'll see something at the next E3 to give us an idea

yo gamers,remember when i said that halo 3 is going to be released 06/01/06 well i found out it was just an fake release date it was made by someone anonymous srry about that folks but i guess the creators of halo3 are actually going to release it the week that they are going to release the halo movie to improve stock sales.

but i hope halo3 will steal all of ps3's suposly "mighty thunder" ha lol.

anyone pre-order ur xbox360's yet?well i did i pre-ordered the omega bundle for $1999.99 comes with everything for the xbox360 and the games as well.well i know that i wont sleep through out the whole month playing games oh-right!!

Huh, I wondered who would be getting the Omega bundle- now I know. Good you came back to fix your previous statements, nagarrok, I was about to do something drastic... but not too drastic, mind you.

Also, take Frankie's statement with a grain of salt. It isn't directly linked to Halo 3, as someone already pointed out. Keep the faith, though, Halo 3 announcements could be right around the corner.

yeah he got that date from eb games, i saw it there the other night, lets be realistic people, halo2 got pushed back and they still did not do as much as we and they themselves hoped, let them take their time, so they can find out how much they can do and how much the 360 is really capable of
