Default Can the zune

I curently have a 30g ipod video and was wanting to change. I was an original 360 launch day member and had the 360 about 5 months then the rrod. I got a referb and had it about 4 months and sold it on ebay before it died as well. I have put off getting one for the past year to see if the rrod would get better and I thought it was time. I ordered the elite and I hope it get here soon.

So my question is this. If I go with the new zune coming out soon can I place videos and tv shows I buy off of marketplace on my zune or is it only zune to 360 allowed. If you can't transfer stuff you purchesd from 360 to zune I believe MS has made a big mistake. Please help me better understand.

If I was going to drop another 250 or so on a Zune to change from an Ipod MS would need for this to happen. I think many 360 gamers would also do this. If it is the DRM that they are worried about just put some type of code into the zune that doesn't let DRM transfer from zune to zune.

Creative's aren't that great. I have a Zen Vision: M and i'ts not as good as the other MP3's I tried out. Zune has a ridiculously awesome screen and is scratchproof. As of performance, I believe there is you can transfer files trhough your zune to the 360, you can also stream music from Zune to 360. Hope I helped

You can't take shows or movies from the marketplace and put them to Zune. Zune can only put it's content to the 360 not vice versa. That is a funcion I think MS will add in the future though as Zune and 360 business grows.

As a Zune owner I really like it and feel it is a much better player than the ipod and certainly doesn't scratch as easily.

I too am a happy Zune owner. I purchased a Zune over an iPod because I knew MS would invest a substantial sum into the product and continually improve it. That and the 360 interconnectivity was an added bonus. I'm just pissed your Zune is "linked" and you can't jack other peoples WMP library. Bastards!
