Halo 3 Feedback

So now that Halo 3 was released today, how has your experience been so far? Everything you had hoped for? Totally satisfied? Better than weed?

I got suckered into buying the legendary edition from exploit a gamer. The sales guy hyped it up to the max and I gave in. Honestly, it was not worth the $129 but the game play made up for it. I was expecting a little bit more out of the box than what it came with. The Helmet is cool as well as the cloth that covers the helmet...but it would have been nice if they threw in a T-Shirt or some special edition Halo 3 crispy cream donuts with the Halo 3 supercharged Mountain Dew with some Halo 3 Condoms for after the game...yeeaahhh. But overall, the game is great like frosty flakes!

I think it definitely lived up to the hype. It controls the same way just like the last one, which is good. When playing multiplayer it felt just like Halo 2. The transition from Halo 2 to 3 was all good, nothing tedious to deal with. I also like how they improved the user interface and unified everything across all the modes. Very user-friendly, good stuff! Campaign Mode is great on live! I've been playing with my roommate on split screen with other live members, pretty fun! And the loading screen is cool, The Halo dazzle baby! I'm lovin it! Hopefully all of you had a positive experience as well.

i have just brought my copy and opened it up and it smells great.

just gotta wait till i get home to play it - stupid work!!

I got the limited edition so it was broke when i opened it, but the guy just took a disc from the regular edition and put it in my limited one

i love the game so far....matchmaking was alright, still workin on the story but its really awesome a lot better than H2's...Forge is awesome ..a great game applause to bungie

game is great the graphics are amazing and the gameplay is way beter than halo 1,2 i love the game but i think alot of people went a little to crazy over it

It's a great game, and the online experience is rich, but it's still just another shooter on a console dominated by FPS and TPS.

I finished campaign last night................fantastic game. Much better than H2 I loved all the new weapons, graphics were very good (though some NPC's looked a little crappy), controls were super tight, and the new vehicles are awesome.

I know some people are going to compare the graphics to GOW but I must say the art style is completely different as well as the enviroments so a comparison is kinda hard to make.

Campaign is nothing special, and the jaggies online are ugly as ****.
But a decent game, but as already said it just lines up with other FPS like Bioshock, and The Darkness.

So is campain different from the story mode. I was hoping it would be like GOW and I would be able to play through the whole game with a friend. Is that not the case? How does campain work then.

This game needs a storyline, its aim and shoot for no reason.

Then those cut-scenes in the game must have been a glitch or something because it seemed like they were telling a story to me.
