Skull Collecting Problem

Hi guys one question on skull collecting i have all skulls but one my guide states this is the unknown skull and its effect is unknown i found it on the level Cortana where u blow up the 3 generators and escape High Charity but unlike any other skull in the skull menu to enable all the skulls it still says its locked? i got it and saved then quit like i would any other skull but it was locked so i re did the level and collected it and finished the level with it in my hands and still didnt unlock the skull in the campaign options...????? help please my guide is pathetic and was written by a monkey

What difficulty did you play on? single player of co-op? did you get the achievement?

I have heard via forums and numerous friends H3 still has some achievement / Skull glitches they haven't taken care of. If the problem persists I would wait for a H3 patch because I am certain MS and Bungie are aware of this issue.

thanks for the kinda help lol i found all the skulls turns out the unknown skull is pointless in collecting no acievment or nothing to recognise collecting it i found the IWHBYD skull i just went to youtube.com and typed in halo 3 skull guide and found the final 2 i needed so thanks anyway guys.
