Posts: 1   |  Just bought an elite having setup trouble I just purchased an Elite an I've been having a major problem with it, and i might be a dumb ass for not being able to figure this one out but oh well i can deal with that. The problem im having is am i suppose to be able to connect both the hdmi av cable and the Component HD AV cable or just one or the other? Because if it is both then i cant get them both in at the same time. I can get it to work if i just use the component hd av cable but it wont work if i just use the hdmi av cable. So if anyone knows my problem could u help me out please? |

Posts: 677  | Just use the HDMI cable. Im guessing that possibly your not switching your tv to HDMI. For example my tv has a input menu that has a list including, component 1 Component 2 VGA HDMI and I think maybe something else. Just make sure when you have the component cables in that your tv is selected to component 1 or Aux 1 or whatever it says on the tv where you plugged it in. If you want to use the HDMI like I do, then make sure to select HDMI on your tv and it should work.

Posts: 840  | yep the posts above should have answered your question, just use 1 or the other and ensure you are selecting the right "channel/input" on your tv. Once you get it setup enjoy the system, you made a good choice !
