Default Just bought an elite having setup trouble

I just purchased an Elite an I've been having a major problem with it, and i might be a dumb ass for not being able to figure this one out but oh well i can deal with that. The problem im having is am i suppose to be able to connect both the hdmi av cable and the Component HD AV cable or just one or the other? Because if it is both then i cant get them both in at the same time. I can get it to work if i just use the component hd av cable but it wont work if i just use the hdmi av cable. So if anyone knows my problem could u help me out please?

Just use one cable or the other. Do not use both at the same time.

Just use the HDMI cable. Im guessing that possibly your not switching your tv to HDMI. For example my tv has a input menu that has a list including, component 1
Component 2
VGA
HDMI
and I think maybe something else. Just make sure when you have the component cables in that your tv is selected to component 1 or Aux 1 or whatever it says on the tv where you plugged it in. If you want to use the HDMI like I do, then make sure to select HDMI on your tv and it should work.

yep the posts above should have answered your question, just use 1 or the other and ensure you are selecting the right "channel/input" on your tv.

Once you get it setup enjoy the system, you made a good choice !
