Posts: 98 | actually i mean its not that *** to charge for them... like bungie still has to pay peoples salaries and **** to make those maps its not like they just pulled them out of their asses.. and like u pay for xbox live but it also costs money for mircosoft to put those up for dl (like everything else on xbox live)... and especially if they are gonna be free in a couple of months u should just chill and get for free then like me... |

Posts: 11 | Seeing as though I only had to fork over a measly $10 for the maps, I went ahead and got them. The map I liked the most at first was Foundry, and I've already played some awesome custom games on it (Spikeball; Dodgeball with spike grenades!). I hated Rat's Nest at first because it was easy to get lost and just was too easy to control the outer roads if you had a warthog (splatters are definitely aplenty.) Standoff is iffy on me, but I do love that there is NO sniper rifle on this one. Because it would be way too easy for someone to camp out. Though there is still the laser, but you at least know when that's coming at ya. :P All in all I actually love playing on Rat's Nest more, especially for Social Slayer, (more people!) because well, I don't have to worry about just playing for fun and losing my rank because of it. That and it's a perfect map for OSK with gravity turned on to ridiculous amounts. Though it ends up being someone camping near the camo, and then everyone else running around the outer loop, and occasionally hiding up in the piping :P |
