what CoD4 weapons do you use?

The M4 runs out of ammo very quickly but I don't waste a perk on it. If I run out I simply pick another gun up off the ground.
The Dragunov is pretty good. It's accurate and has a good rate of fire. The only thing is, it takes headshots to kill most of the time. In the time it takes to line up a headshot with the Dragunov, you could have put 1 in the chest of the guy with a .50 cal and get the same effect(death).

I love the M4 because it packs a punch eventhough it runs quickly on ammo it creates havoc on your enemies.

Some n00b questions...


-Any thoughts on the RPD?

-If you could only use one, what would it be: stopping power or deep impact?

-Often times I get into a standoff with someone else, shoot each other, and I lose. Is that because I don't use stopping power and/or deep impact?

-Does the health perk really help that much?

-What is the most important attribute in general; accuracy, damage, range, etc?

My Weapon of Choice right now is the RPD + Grip with Stopping power and Extreme Conditioning. That's the thing I hated most about the LMGs -- you couldn't run for ****.

Juggernaut is useful up-close and personal since you have the advantage. Deep Impact only works through materials like walls and stuff...no effect on a person. I like Accuracy most in a weapon but you can always counter that with damage. Personal preference.

i'd think accuracy would count for more, unless you are totally running and gunning (like that freight map). what good is damage if you can't hit the guy 100 yards out? that is why i hate using those dumb LMG's. i can't hit anyone, even if i am doing short bursts.

Meh, I think that Extreme Conditioning sucks. The only time that I sprint is when there is a short distance to run across such as a street. I don't really use it because if you're sprinting, and there's a guy around the corner, he will have the draw on you and you'll be dead.

i don't wanna waste what could be a good perk on a longer sprint...but i do sprint whenever i can, on a game like cod4 if you move too slow you are dead for sure as there are snipers everywhere and every area seems to be covered by the other players, so when i'm moving i do it as fast as possible and it gets me hit once often but i'm able to recover, if i was moving slower they would have been able to finish me off with a follow up shot for sure

I don't like to stick around in the same area for too long...I like to be able to move fast. I don't like Last Stand, Martyrdom is for ***s and Deep Impact barely makes any difference...what am I left with?!

Deep impact makes a world of difference imo. And the only place I use Martyrdom is Shipment because it nets you like 20 kills. But yea, Last stand is straight up stupid. I do get pissed off on the rare occasion of me dieing by a last stander though, its humiliating to say the least.

M16, silencer, digital camo, and stopping power (one burst kills usually, silencer helps you get a good camping spot in games like headquarters)

M60, grip, digital camo, sleight of hand (takes few bullets to kill, tons of ammo)

M40 (don't have .50 cal yet) claymores, digital camo, stopping power (one hit kills even juggernaut usually), iron lungs (deep impact is worthless as a sniper)

Those are the 3 classes I use. M40 for Overgrown. M16 on any map. M60 on more close quarters maps, get a lot more spray and pray kills since you have so much ammo, Headquarters on Shipment is great for the M60, I got all 6 weapon achievements for that gun in one game on it.

I use last stand on shipment only. That level is run and gun anyway, so I might as well get 3 kills every time I die. Last stand is okay, I once got 4 kills on Last Stand which made me feel like a badass ^O^.

I love the martyrdom perk. It's perfect revenge for campers. Last stand is worthless IMO. Anyone who's played the game for more than 10 minutes will know to finish off their kill.
