Posts: 418 | Yea, haha not only sue but to ask for 5 million in damages!? What the hell damages have a week or 2 without xbox live caused? I'm more than happy with an arcade game, worth more money than my lost time was worth. |

Posts: 840 | lol if that is for real good luck to the idiots. Im sure when you sign up you accept live terms and conditions. like everyone else i of course never read it but i bet there is a disclaimer somewhere saying that the service may go down.
i must admit i started out pretty understanding, but am getting a little angry that cod4 is still not working right tonight, almost 3 weeks later

Posts: 117 | Yeah I noticed somebody jokingly said that we would get a check for 89 cent well with what close to 11 million members try less than 50. Would'nt it be funny if Microsoft paid it and said no free arcade game you ungrateful bastards. |

Posts: 2,248 | Welcome to the United States people sue over everything here. Like the lady who spilled McDonald's coffee on herself. Because she put the cup on the cars dash and when driver was backing up it spilled on her. Got to love the litigation system in this country for even allowing cases like these to even be brought into court.

Posts: 418 | Haha, two classic cases of how pathetic frivolous law suits are here. The worst one I remember hearing about is guy who was breaking into a house through a skylight in the kitchen when he fell onto a knife on a cutting board. Sued the house owner for negligence and won. |

Posts: 1,579 | Since MS has an army of lawyers and more money/time than anyone on earth....... good luck trying to collect a single peso from them. They're the kind of company that would spend 10 million just to keep you from getting 10 cents. |

Hell, i thought our 'compensation culture' was bad the worst one i heard about was an RAF Engineer who used a very dangerous lubricant on the Aircraft it quite clearly stated not to let it in contact with skin. So what did he do? Took it home and used in the bedroom with his missus, well you can probably imagine what happened. Anyway he sued saying although it said not to come in contact with skin it never said you couldn't put on your genitals, obviously the b****** won. |

Posts: 78 | I wish I could be a fly on the wall in that courtroom, and listen to how the blood-sucking lawyers try to describe damages caused to the clients because Xbox Live wasn't working flawlessly for a couple of months. Yea, I have to admit it sucked, but did it cause me emotional distress and damages? No. Besides, Microsoft has already compensated everyone for it, even those that don't pay for the Xbox Live Gold service. Undertow, which is an 800 point game, is worth more than the amount of money anyone may have considered lost due to service outages.
