hi all just bought a hdmi cable want to know which is the best viewing resolution on my hd tv

The depends on your TV, not the cable or 360.

How big is the TV and what's the native resolution? Under 40" you'll probably want 720p.

Yeah defintley 720 cause i have a 37 and 720 is perfect so just like that other guy said, 720 for under 40in. tv

Well i've got a LCD 37" Hd sanyo TV
and it says if ur tv can take up to 1080i no matter how big the tv is it can go to 1080i..
I've been using 1080i since i got the tv and ive had no problems wot so ever..
Runs very smooth
