Is it just me or the people on gears more whiny than any other online game I have ever played.Gears is a great game but online is kind of ruined for me because it seems like everyone I play with are huge sore losers.Not only that it seems like the people that play gears make homophobic and racist remarks and talk more **** than other online games.If there is anyone else on here who feels the same and wants a good clean game hit me up.

I think alot of them have migrated to COD4 to be honest with you. Thankfully my party nearly always wins so we silence the fools that way. Aint that right Scotty?

That's one of the reasons I play ranked; the host can't do ****. I'll chainsaw, fragtag, pistolwhip people all day baby. Gotta love Gears.

Hi,

Let me help.

I presume your playing the Xbox 360 version. The first mistake you've made is your playing unranked matches (or player matches). The host has the ability to boot any player at his discretion.

My suggestion is to search for a Ranked match only. This way, 99.9% of the time, the host wont quit the match once its started as he will loose lots of points on the leaderboards. So hammer, melle, chainsaw and bash away. I also remove my headset when playing gears so I cant hear the bull****.

I've been called:
Tagging *****, chainsaw noob, lancer whore, sniper whore, ass bow whore, boom *****, pistol whipping whore/*****, hammer *****. It seems no matter which weapon you use, your touted with something. My suggestion is mix it up a little, ie lancer the first guy, then switch to pistol to get the kill. Next guy, tag that ***** and run. Next guy, pick up that snipe and take off his head, then run to boom and finish off the 4th player.

This way, you've earnt a pistol kill, grenade tag, sniper kill, headshot kill and boom shot kill. Then they are just crap if they complain.

Also, none of your acheivements on 360 count in unranked matches, so I'd always be playing in ranked.

For me it is a good game because I really enjoy playing it with my friends. The graphics are good and its features are great.

Yeah, it is a really fun game, i finally got my 360 back in August and loved it to death, GoW was the first game I got and havent really played much of it online, since i really suck, jumped on for the first time in a long time last night, and seem to have gotten better, it seems like im just trying to have fun and I do a whole lot better.

That is how I am. If I get frustrated and too focused I will suck and get really pissed. But if I'm just playing to have fun then I do a whole lot better.

My suggestion as well, is to search for a ranked match, and when the list of games appear, always pick the silver ones. These are the best connections to you and will result in minimal lag.

Nothing worse than playing and feeling like you suk, and then you realise your playing on a laggy game. It makes a huge difference to gameplay and your level of enjoyment.

I think that you've set the site record for posts in one day, Zeta.
If the game is ranked I won't leave, but in player matches I will leave if there is a significant amount of lag. Playing with lag makes me look bad

Ummmmmm no. You have a choice between Player Match or Ranked Match in just about every game but CoD4.

What are you talking about? Player is Player and Ranked is Ranked. Player isn't Ranked.
