Posts: 5   |  cod4, live trouble whenever i play cod4 i usually do a hardcore game, but now im starting to play reg team deathmatch. but it wont let me get in a game. i was probably waiting for 15 min and i still couldn't get in a game. does anyone know whats wrong? |

Posts: 142 | well it was working fine up until the other day now i cant connect to a single game. managed to play FP2 fine last night. Hopefully it will pass. I've only got one more achievement to get (the impossible mile high club) so might as well try that for a while and then try multiplayer after a couple more days.

Posts: 78 | I get something similar from time to time...but never 15 minutes. Sometimes I wait about 1 minute, maybe 2 at the most where I'm the only one in the room and it says waiting for members or something like that, and then I will see a couple of people show up in the room with no gamertags or rank. Then boom, the floodgates open and the room populates with people when the lag finally catches up.

Posts: 142 | Well i have found the reason why i couldnt connect to a game. after 2 weeks of trying i was really geting p*ssed. turns out my DNS settings on my xbox were different to my router. as soon as i changed, everything was fine. I usually switch my DNS on my router from automatic to open DNS, turns out this stopped me from playing COD4. Strange though cos i could still play TF2.
