Pepper Jack, no sh*t it is on Veteran. Why would I not read the first post of the thread? And why would you call me a punk? I was stating my opinion, and it wasn't directed towards you as far as I know. With all the posts you have made in the last year, I should be calling you a punk.

And I agree with you Mik on the Halo 3 Legendary. It is harder.

20% skill my sweaty balls. Luck has little to do with it seeing as how you have to memorize what to use and at what time. You can't just try to do it the first try and have a little bit of skill and beat it. That **** takes a little bit of planning.

And to whoever said it was easy. Charlie Don't Surf (The main room with all the TVs) is the only Veteran level I can't complete. That part pisses me off.

It seems you are in the minority because the vast majority of the people I have spoken with agree. Haven't you noticed that when you flash bang in the cabin sometimes it dazes the enemy while other times they aren't even phased? Explain that mother ****er to me! I've probably played that missions over 100 times and regardless of my "planning", the AI would react different even though my process was identical.

that's a ****ing good point dude, so many times i know i've flashbanged the whole room but it just doesn't register

The worse is when you flashbang a room hide behind the wall on other ****ing side of the room and turn away from doorway, and you get flashbanged but noone else seems to get a white screen! espcially if u get shot whilst flashbanged and look at kill-cam the ****er was in room you flashbanged but hes fine just legs it out, see's my sorry ass hiding in corner and rapes me.

that one took me some time. i tried hanging out back in the 'computer room' and taking them out as they came through all the halls...didn't work, cause they never stopped coming.
what i ended up doing was sprinting to a small room on the left about halfway into the big room. take out the dude on the railing with the damn rpg, then sprint to the main hall in the back. that seemed to stop them from spawing, and your guys actually take out quite a bit of them and you can shoot the rest from behind. getting back to that hall took me about 4 or 5 times, because they zero in on you quick, but once i made it back there it wasn't to hard.

just watch the youtube videos of people doing it, then just use those videos as a sort of basic guideline for how to beat it, dont follow them exactly, just kind of adapt yourself to how others have done it, it is such a relief when you do beat it though

I am really stuck on this too as I want the gamerscore, but it is really hard

I have looked at some vids on youtube, but they didn't really help me and you just don't get enough time

I've heard from people who complete it on veteran that you just have to....
#1 Keep moving forward so the enemy doesn't get to dig in,
#2 Flash bang the spawn points and rush up shooting,
#3 Just grab guns off the floor to avoid wasted time reloading.
#4 Running past the enemies while they are flashed is good in some spots because your team is following close behind and will take them out.

For me personally the choke point is the room at the base of the stairs and the room at the top of the stairs. What really sucks is the lack of a Checkpoint...... so you can manage to get to the hostage and then miss your .175 second headshot opportunity
