Default How often does the 360 sell with games?

Over the holiday the 360 was sold and included a couple of games. How often does Microsoft offer that kind of incentive? Wondering if incentives have been tied to slowing unit sales in the past.

I think it may just have something to do with it being the holiday season when people are expected to spend more money on such expensive items. It makes sense for Microsoft to do a package then to entice people to spend their money on purchasing a 360 instead of one of the other systems. Since it's likely they will only be purchasing one system.

Fry's electronics sometimes sells them in bundles with a few games and an extra remote and Gamestop.com sometimes has a bundle package though usually the 360 is a used one

All mega big box retailers such as Sam's Club and Costco sell 360's in bundled packages.

i think i seen bundles at best buy on occasion, usually with a brand new game, or one that no one will buy. but like kona said, not the way you see them at costco or sam's. those guys almost exclusively sell bundled consoles; extra controller, a game or two, etc... and the return policy at those stores is hella good, and it's tough to beat those prices.
