Default Error Buying MS Points

Thanks for another ruined Friday night and weekend Microsoft, so much for my night of COD4 playing new maps.

That mean they aren't available? or everyone is trying to download at once? they push the release of them off?
It's almost like a chick teasing you into thinking you're gonna score, then they say, "i have a headache."

i got that error too, about 4 times but it worked eventually. then after a terribly slow download it said "can't download" at 99%. many many error messages later i got the download started again only for it to start at 98%, take 10 mins to get to 99% and then give me another "can't download" error LOL! 3rd time it worked, i finally have the maps a mere 12 hours later. gonna play them now when this fire alarm shuts the **** up

its just cause live is flooded with every1 trying to add points/download the cod maps. I got that error several times but just kept clicking it and after 10 or 15 minutes the download finally started. The download itself was fast for me only took about 5 mins with no slow downs. Hang in there you'll get them lol

The fact you think a good friday night is downloading and playing maps on a game, pretty much makes me think every friday night for you is ruined.

Yeah pretty much everybody know had that happen to them. One of my friends and I from swim team got them at 6 in the morning (PST), which is when they first came on, though. And we were up that early for practice, not because we're that nerdy, even though at least I probably am. Just thought I should cover that.

When you are looking forward to something while at work all day to come home and find that its all FUBAR'ed, ya that tends to ruin expectations a bit.

I was eventually able to buy points and play the maps after several hours.

I tried every half hour starting around 5pm with all the error codes popping, and finally at 1AM it allowed me to buy points and then DL the Maps.
