what CoD4 weapons do you use?

Do you guys use one specific weapon for every team deathmatch game or do you change your custom class depending on the map?

Im trying to decide whether to just stick with something like the M16 and keep unlocking a better assualt rifle until I have the best assualt rifle or to go with the SMG's and just stay with them.


OR should I just use both SMG's and Assualt weapons depending on the map, it will take longer to unlock the very good weapons however....


recommendations?


LMG's are an option to stay with to but i seem to have better luck with SMG's and Assualt weapons...Thanx

M16A4 with red dot sight for me all the way. Vacant and Crash I use P90 (if i have it) and overgrown I use Dragonuv.

A GOOD TIP:For your sniper "create a class" You should absolutely use the UAV jammer perk. I've gone whole games as a sniper without dying thanks to this perk, and God. I don't believe in luck .

Its a hard decision, grenade launcher, or extra health (juggernaut) perk....

what do you guys use, C4 or RPG? (I'm not a special grenade type of person )
Its great to blow down an enemy helicopter, but I get more joy out of blowing up 3 people with C4 when they least expect it

m16 with red dot on long distance maps with deep impact, stopping power, and frag 3x.

p90 with double tap, steady aim, and bandolier on small maps.

On Shipment I use the SAW, frag 3x, stopping power, and Martyrdom.

And I'll only whip out the sniper rifle if the occasion calls for it. Maybe I'll start using it more once the big update comes. This setup seems to balance me out at 1.24-1.25 K/D

I change them sometimes to include an all-silenced class but other than that, those are my tools of destruction.

Edit: and no, I don't whore that stupid Barrett M82 (the .50 cal), it's so inaccurate and the R700 is easily a match for it and has better accuracy.

My weapon of choice for team deathmatch and especially free-for-all has been the silenced M4, I like to be sneaky. I recently unlocked the G36C and am working on unlocking the silencer for it so it may become my M4 replacement, we'll see. I use claymores, martyrdom, and stopping power for this custom class. On the map with the missile silo's where sneaking up on someone is pretty much out of the question since people tend to move around the map along the perimeter, I find the M16 with the red dot sight is excellent in this map where you need to deliver quick three round bursts at long range.

Correction to my former post. The G36C is now my primary weapon. I have one custom class with a silenced G36C and one with the AO whatever its called, best scope, both with claymores, stopping power, and martyrdom. I also found a great combo out of the last LMG that you unlock, forgot what its called. I use that in combination with the grip, double tap, and deep impact. Man does that tear it up.

I use anything with the grenade launcher. I love the grenade launcher.

Grenade launcher is nice, but not nice enough to forfeit an addon such as a scope or silencer and Perk 1.

i cant move away from my m4, but i probably should to try do some challenges on the other weapons to boost my XP. Whenever i move from the m4 (with red dot) my kills really suffer (and they are not great to start with most of the time).

As far as perks go i like Martyrdom as it always seems to pick me up lots of bonus kills. Last Stand is pretty hopeless as its easy to spot, i love watching some1 who just killed me try to sprint away from my dropped bomb and get stuck in a doorway or w/e and die though. Stopping power too for that extra dmg.

Now, I keep a UAV jammer on all my classes. I just did it today, and it's given me AT LEAST 10 extra kills. People can't ever find you.

-Dragunov, MP5 w/ Red Dot, Claymores, Overkill

i am pretty limited on points, so i was only able to make 1 class, so i did an ak with grenade launcher with penetration and last stand, i think. been a long time since i been on. works good though, kills what it needs to.
now that my interweb is fixed, maybe i can get on now.... that sounds like a good idea.
