Posts: 1,579 | After seeing all the new gameplay footage and reviews................. it still looks like the same game as the last 3 just a little prettier so this game is a MEH for me. A rent at best. |

I haven't tried online yet though...but i am not sure it will change my opinion much. |

Posts: 1,579 | After playing this game for an extended period of time this game is FAR from a percfect game. The controls mostly suck (aiming is better), cars drive like boats, and for some reason they didn't put any checkpoints in the missions. Some are easy and don't need them but ones like the final mission are just retarded without checkpoints. The game still has the same design flaws that GTA3 had which is really unexcusable since they've had so much time and money to refine the gameplay.
I'll wait for Saints Row 2 for at least an enjoyable open world experience.
Saints Row> GTA4 |

Saints Row> GTA4 | Saints row eh? Go and play that game again then get back to us, i downloaded demo to see what its like after playing gta4 and it hasnt aged well at all, and it wasnt great back then anyway, the bugs and gameplay are ****e. Its fine to not like gta but to say saints row is better voids your whole rant. Checkpoints are the only thing you have correct, you get used to driving and its a great system pulling a handbraker on a tight turn is legend. | |

I liked all the customization options you had in Saints Row for your character. They should have left that in GTA4.
Question:
I assume Shane that you bought GTA for PS3. Did it require a manditory 5gb install ala DMC4? Just asking. Since a lot of newer PS3 games do that. |

Posts: 920 | i don't really care about the lack of checkpoints in this one. i thought the autosave function made up for it so that i could just turn it off whenever i wanted without having to find a save location like the past games. more customization options were definitely needed though. i'm surprised that no one else but me really cared about not being able to spend some of your bankroll. |

Posts: 2,650 | Well, the way I look at it:
I get enough violence killing Russians/terrorists, no need to kill cops
I'd rather spend the $60 on a gallon or two of gas |
