My god, another rip snorter of a month for Wii,
thats 2 months or so at over 700,000 units sold!

So 360 barely edged ahead of PS3 for sales of hardware.

I think the lead of 360 purchases of GTA4 is great. Although, they said its 5 days of sales? Last time I checked, 29th, 30th of April is only 2 days? But maybe thats shipment to retailers, and its plausable they got there stock 3 days early. But I thought NPD numbers is based on sales from retailers, not on distribution? Anyone confirm?

Before I gloat on GTA4 being stronger on 360, lets see how May pans out, add the two together for a more accurate result, and then fanboys, you may pass judgement.

I also cant beleive how the Wii Play still pushes so many units. Its only cause people want a extra controller that is driving that games sales.

Wow the Wii is a monster. I think May NPD will give us a better idea of the GTA effect.

the wii is a monster as far as console sales. unfortunately the only one making real money off of the "casual" gamer is Nintendo. Most nintendo owners buy nintendo games for their nintendo console. And if they are only buying 1 or 2 or 3 games a year because they dont play much that doesnt equate to a whole lot of software sales.

But the funny thing is nintendo is quoting a attach rate of like 7 or something, which is pretty high and doesn't seem right?

I can understand Wii Play (1), Wii Sports (1), Links Crossbow training (1) and thats all our bundles, but for actual games, maybe Zelda definately (1) and Mario Smash, Kart or Party, lets assume (1) as well, thats a attach rate of 5 at the max I thinks?

Someone said they are including VC games in that total, but many debate they are not allowed to do that.

Nintendo does not have an attach rate of 7 - it's 2 IIRC.
