Thanks for the info. and to clarify i haven't finished episode 2 quite yet. As mentioned in my post i got the game way late mainly due to an mmorpg that i won't mention but either way it killed my console gaming for about a year. Should finish episode 2 tonight even tho i just got mass effect and uefa. too much catching up to do. gah.

NO,no no no no.

There will be no Halflife 3, Ep 1-3 are Halflife 3. Valve has stated this countless times, Episode 3 which I cant bleedin wait for is coming out very early 2009 from all records, there are strong rumours which state it will include the Portal gun, and a Portal 2 is in works aswell but not called Portal.

haha, i am ashamed of myself. either way i'm back and my original xbox 360 that i got on launch day still hasn't RRoD'ed. please don't judge me because of my bad decisions, if it makes you feel better my characters sold for 890 dollars total. That not the opposite at all you retard.
Halflife 3 is the Hl2 episodes, it finishs of the current story.
If there is a HL3 it wil be a new story, and not a carry on from HL2, the episodes are in essence HL3, and ive seen many things on this on the interweb with gabe himself saying it. Im a HL fanboy and always check up on it, i have no link as its knowledge Ive gathered from months of faffing about on HL sites, and news/preview snips on gaming sites. Trust me lads look into it some more and youll see what ive stated is pretty much whats lined up for ol' HL.
