Posts: 792 | So does anyone have any interest in a 60GB harddrive at all? I personally don't have much use for anything bigger than 20GB, I always have 8 to 10 GB of free space.
EDIT. SORRY POSTED IN WRONG SECTION> PLEASE MOVE TO 360 discussion. |

Posts: 4,828 | i'm not really bothered, more space would be nice but with the VMP the way it is over here it don't really have a need for anything bigger than 20gb at the moment

Posts: 2,396 | if i were to upgrade, it would be to the 120gig. I hate having to delete things so darn much! It didnt used to be such a problem, but if you actually buy a game from the classics collection, it takes half your storage. ;( burnout 3 ownz though, so i deal!

Posts: 1,579 | If you didn't already have a 360 a 60gb bundle would be good, but for an upgrade from the 20gb? Just get the 120gb HD and be done with it. |

Posts: 2,464 | so 360 is releasing a 60 gig? the ps3 did that and it was more of a flop then the 20 and 80 gig. they comfortably settled for a 40, kept the 80 and did away with the other 2. why would the xbox wanna do a 60gig? better then 20 but not as expensive as a 120?
i have the 120, and i am down to 92 gigs. i don't know what is on it that has it so full. i downloaded some demos, but only about 4 or so, and those are usually a gig each? i don't have movies or pictures or music. so where is about 30 gigs of my space? i think it is MS and their giant OS's that take over huge amounts of hard drive space. |

Posts: 1,579 | The HD saves 7gb of space free for the cache. I see you play a lot of GH any DLC for them? Extra maps/content are getting bigger all the time.
I think the 60gb is gonna replace the 20gb on the pro model and phase out the 20gb model and leave pricing the same.
PS3 released 4 skus in less than a year so that's probably the reason for the confusion/failure. |

Posts: 2,396 | dude, i got so many RB songs dl.. they take up sooo much space. its also hard to justify using the 360 as a DVR with a measily 20gig HDD. If/when IPTV comes out, it will be used like that alot. has anyone heard anything bout that in a while?

Posts: 920 | just like you can't have too much hd for your PC or laptop, you can always use more space for your 360, especially with the 360 gaining more and more features that computers have. anyone more than just a casual gamer will find use for a hd larger than 20GB. all i use mine for is casual gaming and i'm almost outta room. |

Posts: 416 | Right now I think I have about 10 gb left on my 20 gb hardrive. I could possibly use a 60 gb if I were to download more things off of marketplace, be it games, dlc, tv shows etc. If this was the case I would most likely just upgrade to the 120 gb to ensure i wouldnt have to upgrade again. However I cannot imagine using all of that space and a 60 gb could be more a more feasible upgrade. |

Posts: 828 | Ok, I think a 60GB is a good idea for a console, and MS should phase out 20GB and Arcade models.
Also, with new update (when it comes) its been rumoured MS will offer optional installs for games. Essentially if like the PS3, you can use 3-5GB per install. That HDD will fill quick. Most PS3 people with 40 GB drives say after about 7 or 8 installs its full.
So may need to take that into consideration as well.
