Halo Movie: The Cast! Who do you think should play as whom?

Ok Guys/Gals, what are your suggestions for who would fit which roll best?

I think Samuel L Jackson can be Sarg. Johnson, that one's kinda easy to fill though I guess.

The MasterChief would be really hard to fill. But I don't know. I'll say Hugh Jackman. He's actually really talented. I think he could pull it off.

If anyone says Angelina Jolie for Cortana I keel you!

I'll admit I don't know all the characters, but I'm sure many of you do! Halo addicts

For Mastechief they should do the Darth Vader approach and have some tall guy in a suit and the original voice from the games do the dialogue.

As for the other characters I am fine with anybody as long as the name Vin diesel isn't involved.

I reckon whoever did the Master Chiefs voice should be in the film as the Master Chief.

i dont think they should cast big movie stars.
they usually have big egos and it will just make it into some popular hollywood blockbuster.

id much prefer to see it as a more underground film, with less special effects. ovioulst still some, but not hundreds of millions of dollars pumped into it.

unknown castings would be good, and no one we know for MC. the original voice. but just a tall guy in a suit. and the original voice for cortana etc..

as close to the game as possible.

but we dont even know if it is going to be a representation of the game, it may take place after halo2. we dont know.

It would be good if they based it on the games starting with Halo 1 as the first movie then a Halo 2 movie then a Halo 3 movie etc etc.

Okay, this has been discussed many times over on other websites, but, just to get my 2 cents in here as well, I offer the following:

Costana-- same voice, same CGI in movie. No actress needed.
MC-- get some tall dude, no helmet removed, no egos, voiceover of Jason(?) Downs
Sarg-- Samuel Jackson is the coolest for this role.
Brute-- Micheal Moore would do.
Grunt-- Danny DeVito or Mini-me.
Arbiter-- Ahhhnold.
Jackal-- Pee-Wee Herman.

Director-- Ridley Scott, of Black Hawk Down.

That should do it.

I think we all agree on Samuel Jackson performing as Sargent.
MasterChief should be played by a very, very big guy and voiced by the same guy on Halo2, or maybe another well known actor.

They're gonna have to invent some characters, since most of the ones in the game are aliens and monsters, and movies aren't that fun without humans.

Visual Effects? Yes, a freaking lot, but with a godamn good argument.

Director: Peter Jackson.
