Though we've seen compelling evidence in the past, it's finally official: BioWare and LucasArts are working on an MMO based on the popular Knights of the Old Republic franchise. Portfolio.com interviewed EA boss John Riccitiello, who said that they have "two of the most compelling MMOs in the industry in development." The first he referred to was Warhammer Online, but what about the second? He said, "and the one people are dying for us to talk about -- in partnership with Lucas, coming out of BioWare, which is, I think, quite possibly the most anticipated game, full stop, for the industry at the point when we get closer to telling you about it." Just in case you're still skeptical, the interviewer then pressed by asking directly if he referred to a Knights of the Old Republic online game, and Riccitiello plainly said, "yes."
Lots of MMO's getting announced. this one is particularly interesting but DC Universe Online still holds my interest.
good call don. I would like to enjoy a single player KOTOR. MOG games don't hold my interest, it's just like a chat room. i think they are actually pretty limiting.

beh, im on the fence. while an MMO sounds interesting, and has nearly endless possibilities, i wasnt really looking for a new monthly subscription, i was looking for another chapter in the starwars universe.
sure it's not out yet, but since lucasarts has failed at all other online games, i'm gonna go ahead and say this is dumb. either way, even if it isn't dumb, i'll be disappointed. i hadn't even thought of a monthly subscription. thanks, remix.
or, if it is online, hope there would at least be a single player aspect to it. but i doubt it.

theres always ways to complete most of the missions single player. even in Everquest and WoW, you can do most missions exept for the biggies, solo.
Is it lucas arts making it, or bioware? If its still bioware, i have hope.

MOG? u mean MMO? wait... no no, u couldnt mean MMO judging by the fact that ur calling them "limiting".

i think he was referring to Massive Online Games which mmo is a kind of. but i hardly agree with his statement because mmo's are ANYTHING but limiting. maybe they limit the amount of sun you'll see that week or soemthing.
