With E3 done and dusted, there's a lot to get excited about regardless of what platform you own or support. This fall will see the release of an extensive list of hot titles.
However - there is a storm brewing that no one really could have predicted and I believe it's the hottest IP to hit the gaming industry in at least a year.
Dead Space is shaping up to be one of the biggest revolutions in gaming we've seen in a while. Months away from launch, the game firmly projected itself into 'cult status' during E3 with the release of some enticing trailers and three (IMO) absolutely stunning animated comics available through XBL free to Gold subscribers.
Sensing the interest that their supplementary material is getting, EA Redwood Shores is expanding beyond comics and is now planning the release of an animated film (in glorious 2D) which looks fantastic.
You can see the trailer here:

Forget the fact that this game looks creepy as heck. Forget the fact that we may bear witness to the utlmate hybrid of Half Life/Portal/Resident Evil/BioShock. You can even forget the fact that anyone who has touched this game thinks it's sh*t hot with pepper sauce.
Instead - revel in the effort that EA-RS is making in giving us something more than a game. They're looking to give us a new religion!
