Question Another Question On Resolutions

i have a 32inch toshiba flat screen hd tube television and what im trying to figure out is how clear 720p is i mean does this mean my games will look almost as good as what a computer monitor res looks will the games look like this on my tv i cant really understand how u can get something to look as good on a computer monitor to look that good on a reg hd tv can someone explian how this works and will my games look this good on a hdtv or close to vga res. my tv is not widescreen its about a 1 year old it supports 1080i,720p,480p, also will 720p be downgraded to 480p or will i get full 720p support so for so many questions im a dumb *** at this kind of stuff an help to let me understand better would be gratefull thanks

Your TV will be fine. HD will look noticably better than 480p, but inot as sharp as a computer monitor. The cost of making a CRT TV with the fine dot pitch of a computer monitor would be astronomical. With the 360 you will get full 720p and 1080i support. As for widescreen, if a game is designed for 16:9 it will work on your 4:3 tv, but look kind of compressed. If you had a 16:9 tv running a 4:3 game, the game will look stretched.
