Default Video Games are Killing my Relationship!

PlanetXbox360 Writes: The following article was sent to us by one of our readers, who has gone through multiple girlfriends and is now sitting on the edge of a major breakup. I asked him to write down his feelings and send them over, the following is what I received word for word. His real name must remain anonymous to protect his relationship, or what's left of it.

N4G.com : Video Games are Killing my Relationship

very well written, that was a nice little read. It's crazy how people can always do annoying things and never think twice about it, but when someone else does does it to them, Game Over (pun intended). Hard to understand.

endwar.. what the heck? You delete my front post, and reduce my post here to something I didnt say? Whoever the annonymous writer is, is a whining idiot. He whines about his girlfriend being needy and always getting her way. Then he whines because she invades his game space, after admitting that hes broken up with girls because of his gaming needs. Instead of EMBRACING the fact that she wants to play, he wants to do mean things out of childish jealousy. How is it mean to point out the simple truth? Its not the video games killling relationships, its HIM.

I could write a total opposite of an article entitled "Videogames: An addiction that saved my maraige and friendships, and that of my friends"
Like I pointed out in my ORIGINAL post, my friends and I all have a CoD4 clan that is all hubbys, wives, bfs, gfs, and the kids. We all have our own boxes, our own accounts, and we spend some "quality" time with other friends/couples playing games together on XBL.
This child who wrote the article wants to go in and ruin his girls game instead of joining her and sharing in great teamwork. 2 ends of the spectrum on how to deal with gaming. I have a decade long marraige, he cant keep a girlfriend even when shes interested in games. And my wife USED to ridicule my addiction. Now she plays with me. Whos really being mean??
