actually if you watch the video that was on aots, jeff was interviewing one of the developers and he said they are trying to shoot for a first day launch and by god i hope they make it because after that 20 min in game walkthrough i brought myself to believe i couldn't wait any longer.

A good RPG at launch is a must. Although I won't be able to afford it...

I'm definitely getting it. I love games with unlimited freedom! If only Bethesda could make a MMORPG Elder Scrolls or an online multiplayer one (co-op) you know, like making a group and such with your buddies. Kinda like Baldur's Gate/NWN although those were actuall group based RPG's. You know what I mean, though!

hey guys, i was just introduced to the elder scrolls series a couple weeks ago and think it might be pretty tight. can anyone give me some background info or what i might expect from the game? cause after they delayed the release of ghost recon advanced warfighter, i really need a game to get with the release of the 360 and i think oblivion might be it, if it looks like i might enjoy it that is

This has not been confirmed by anything but the dates posted on ebgames and gamestop which are really one in the same. so i dont think you should panic......yet.

As much as I want this one, I may not even get this game at launch. I'll be picking up PDZ, and Kameo first. Then, after I beat those, I'll probably have another bit of cash on hand. I'll see what has had the best reviews, and buy my next game acordingly. I would buy Project Gotham 3, but I'm not a racer fan (to put it lightly).

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seing how this game turns out, but Rares titles have me more interested at the moment. I know Oblivion will be great, it will just take to much of my time near launch. I want to play through as many games as I can, right away.

dude just leave it on pre-ordered and payed for that way when it comes out you can go in the store and pick it up thats what i did..
