Oh my god this is probably going to be the best thing to happen to the gaming world since the conception of the controller it is the anti-controller. apparently this little device is compatible with existing xbox hard ware it will take the place of the controller and includes full body motion capture, voice and facial recognition. Anyways it has a 3d camera array built in for depth detection and it was announced today at e3. Lion head studios had an amazing demonstration with a Artificial intelligence named Milo. Milo can recognize your face your voice can call you by your name interacts with you on a level only dreamed of by people that write science fiction novels I wish to god this comes out as a fully working product for a reasonable price point when it comes out. I will be purchasing it any ways but it would be nice if it cost less than a console. YouTube - Project Natal Motion Sensing Controller for XBOX 360 here is a video of it.

yeh frost looks awesome unreal and amazing. Whatever the price its worth it .
Microsoft with xbox 360 are impossible to beat at e3 absoloutely blown nintendo further away and all the ps3 fanboys have nothing over xbox now MGS to the 360 WOOP WOOP.
And modern warfare 2 blimey this looks amazing as well, brilliant and shockingly realistic cant wait for any of the games shown at E3
Milo is a pedophiles dream lol. Holy **** though its amazing. I hope its done properly and the games aren't gimmicky, being a member of a pit crew is not fun.
It's the motion sensor thing someone posted up on a thread a while ago, I think it was blaster... I like everyone else hope it's done correctly, it looks good. but seems too good to be true. I can't wait for a hands on review of it. Also in the video, does that look like an updated version of our avatars when the chick was picking out the dress for it?

i play games so i don't have to move. i hope this is an option. the wii is about as mobile as i want to be. you don't have to get all up on when you play that thing, just flick the wrist.
i saw pictures of some dude doing ninja moves for a fight game. i guess the upside is, we'd all become badass fighters. or snipers. or ghost squad infiltrators.

lol, upon watching this video again, I noticed it wasn't a new avatar, just a full body pic of that girl that was talking to her friend. I guess you can dress it up like a doll or something.
I bet it will be an option for most all games, and there probably won't be anything bad ass for this for a long while. I'm guessing it'll have it's own decent(but not great) line up of games until developers decide to do something with this. I think Ubisoft's game, **** the name escapes me at the moment, but it looked like an RTS.. I bet that game will be the first to take advantage of this feature.

I think you are thinking of RUSE. The one that the guys were playing on table top. That was the first game I thought of to; maybe RTS games could not suck so much on console now. Personally I'm a little skeptical. If used to its full potential, which i seriously doubt it will be, it could truly revolutionize games. I still want to see the response time at release, the movement better be 1:1 or it'll be no better than a fancy version of Wii's waggle. Before you can color me impressed I want to see the types of games that are developed for it as well as how well it will actually pick up movement.
That Milo thing was cool, but scary. Its just a step closer from spending less time with real friends and playing, or in this case, interacting with, your video games for alot of people
i think it's a horrible decision. sure it's great to have the technology, but at most it comes off as a complete gimmick and like all peripherals/accessories for 360 it will cost a pretty penny or two. horrible, just horrible.

the games for it so far look crappy, it only seems to work with gimmicky arcade games at the moment but it definately does have potential. i'm not gonna even think about buying it until it's tried and tested and works with some good games. i don't think now is the time to get too excited...but people always do

natal and the playstation wand are both gimmicks until proved otherwise.
i'll be impressed when i see the ability to pass as a QB on madden because painting and kicking balls at a wall just doesnt do it for me
I don't see how passing in madden could be done with Natal.... position of the pass would be hard enough to determine and then the real problem, velocity and height of the throw. How the hell would they determine when you want to throw a floater over a line backer?

track the direction you're moving your hand in, the speed you're throwing, the angle etc. if they can't implement it into real games like that then it's just another boring gimmick and can go on the shelf with the wii and sixaxis
