Thumbs up Dues Ex 3!!

not much news in this article about it, other then it is being developed. Sweet action! the first one ruled so awesomely much, they should have made saving private ryan movie based on it. the second one, not so much. so let's keep our fingers crossed for 3rd that it will match the first one in coolness.

oh, and thief 4 if you were into thief games.

That VideoGame Blog » Development for Deus Ex 3 is going well, says Eidos Montreal

surprised how many people love these games, maybe it caught me on an off night, but tried it when they released the game for the original xbox. I loved everything I read about concept and gameplay, then actually started playing and found that even run of the mill grunt soldiers you had to drop an entire clip of bullets into to take them out.

Then I started testing and found they could withstand a headshot and live. That really soured me and I gave up on the game pretty quick. my loss I guess since everybody always raves about how great it is.

i don't know if the original was the xbox. i think the second one was (and from the small amount of the second one i played, it wasn't nearly as good as teh first one). i never played them on the console. i am talking PC games here.

the first one was incredible. full of twists and turns and conspiracy. one of the first RPG/FPS type games. you could chose to be good or evil-ish. upgrade your skills with skill points you earned, and you could choose what you wanted to enhance as you found bionic upgrades.... it was just a sweet game with lots of re-playability.

one of the areas you upgraded was your weapon proficiencies. that may have been why it was hard to kill guys if you had just started. plus you find better weapons as the game goes on.

thats because it wasnt an FPS, its an RPG. 1 headshot shot kills in RPGs are pretty rare over all. Games like Fallout are the exeption to the rule.

OP, spelt the title wrong. I'm not being a grammar nazi, just that it's pronounced DAY-US-X. Just trying to help.
