PlanetXbox360.com's Official Halo 3: ODST Tournament

All-right, we are ready to officially announce the Halo 3: ODST tournament. Let's begin with the first details:

1 - It will be broken into two divisions: Veterans from the forums (over 100+ posts) and Newcomers (under 100 posts).
2 - There's only 16 spots in the tournament. 8 for the Veterans and 8 for the New users.
3 - The gametype we will be using is Firefight
4 - The top two people from each 4 player Firefight will advance on to the next bracket.
5 - In the end, there will be only two winners for a 1st place prize and a 2nd place prize. It's every man for himself.

Rules:
1 - Every Firefight match will be on the Legendary Difficulty setting.
2 - The final match will have the Blind skull turned on with no HUD. The rest of the skulls can be turned on for every other match.
3 - The maps will be determined prior to match taking place.
4 - Unlimited lives, 15 minute limit.
5 - Rules are subject to change and new rules will be added as we see fit.

1 - Legendary video game (Xbox 360)

2 - Legendary Graphic Novel

3 - Legendary Collector's Art Work
4 - Halo: Ghosts of Onyx Novel

5 - The Used - "Lies for the Liars" Album

6 - Xbox Live Arcade Game of Their Choice (List will be provided after conclusion of tournament)
7 - Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars Sticker

Second Place Prize:
1 - Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 T-Shirt

I may have to quit this tournament because apparently I'm one of the lucky couple thousand people who can't play ODST because of disc read errors. It has something to do with refurbished first generation consoles and just my luck... It's what I have. I've tried installing to harddrive and even took it to the store and got a new copy and still same problem :\ So unless I can get a new console... I guess my spot is open.

It sucks big time. My 360 is dying though so I do plan on getting another one. It seems I can play ODST, but the only level that seems to work 90% of the time is Lost Platoon. My campaign I can't play at all.

tat stinks brah... I have not been able to play either since my discs have not been at my house since I bought them... they are coming back today tho... yay me... hehe

if its having trouble reading discs and you want to fix it yourself get either a laser cleaner (disc form) or open your xbox and wipe off the laser with a Q-tip and some sort of alcohol (i forget what kind). It worked for me, and its been almost 2 years.

It has nothing to do with the discs. Read up on the issue. It has to do with some crap programming and them not testing it on older consoles. All my other games work except for Halo 3 and ODST cause of some issue with the game not working on older consoles.
