Would you mod?

Well I have a modded xbox, and used to mod halo 2 (still can if I want) but it so hard and so much work to do, and why mod a game? Its just saying that your bad at it and want to win so you have to cheat. But modding a system is different, you dont cheat or anything, you are just able to keep emulators, or xbox games on it, so what Im trying to say is, If you could mod the 360 would you (like store games on it) or mod the 360 games (cheat and mess around) I would mod my 360 system, but forget me cheating, its pointless...

P.S.

Im asking IF you WOULD mod, not asking where or how to mod, or store games illegally!

i wouldnt mod my 360 its taking to much of a chance but i would if i had one extra to store games

i would probably not want to risk a 360 but an xbox i would for storing games and stuff like you said

same here my uncle does that because he has alot of vidoe games but i just thought that u could ''steal'' games by using a mod

i probably wouldnt personaly. I think the 360 is to powerful and complicated of a system to be messing with. plus even if i did do it i would be booted from live because you cant mod a system and still have live

you can make any thing into something illegal, it just depends how how you use the object that you are moding

not taking the chances because i don't want to mess it up. if i did mod however i would only mod to make fun little games where basically all the stuff that is changed is retarded yet fun

like shooting earthquakes with a smg and creating spartans with plasma pistol.

Modding sounds fun but you could get banned from Live. I hear you can shoot trains with a rocket launcher. P.S. Night Owl is the man.

I personally wouldn't mod in general, but if M$ decided to do something stupid and restrictive, I would consider it. I have a buddy who re-flashed the bios in his xbox, put a bigger hard drive in it, installed Windows 2000 Server, and streamed mp3's off it. I have another buddy that actually got Slackware installed on his somehow.

Well, they would ban the MAC address of the 360 that you modded. You could get back on Live if you bought another one!

I did the same thing with my PS1 but really its just a waste. Its better to just buy the games and just enjoy it. I hated looking at my games collection of broken and battered copies

i would probobaly do about 2-3 years after the machine was launched so that the best chiip is availiable cause the first few availiable are crap only with time do they get better
