Default Xbox 360 Pro OR Elite?

Hello everyone. Today is the big day, for me. I am going to get my 360.

So i was wondering, should i get the pro, or the elite?

I have seen threads, and posts, and comments, about how the pro may get warmer than the elite. But also seen posts that they are about the same.

I know i dont need the 120gig hard drive, so thats out. BUT, is there any real difference in the elite and pro?

I dont have a high def tv i will be playing on either if that helps lol.

THANKS!

Your pretty much looking at a difference of colour as well as the hard drive, otherwise they are the exact same. Buy a pro, paint it black or whatever colour you want....now you have a "insert colour here" elite. Before the difference was chipset and that elite had hdmi...but now the newer systems are updated as well and obviously have hdmi

buy the cheaper one and take the left over money and start saving for a HDTV or at least a really nice hi res monitor to play on.

you can certainly use a monitor if you get the VGA cables, or if you have a fancy schmancy monitor with HDMI you can go that route.
