Posts: 1,211 | Actually you are correct about the NXE thing. I actually have 2 consoles. My new elite and my old 360 pro. Which I am going to assume you have an original xbox 360 right? One that was made probably 2-3 years ago. For some reason the new games and Halo 3 and Halo:ODST give disc read errors since some update. Microsoft can't figure out what the problem is though, but apparently their working on a fix. Who knows. My original xbox was the same way. It was out of warranty and dying so I got an Elite. :\ That was really my only fix for the problem. The only games of mine or any games I played that ever gave trouble with the old console were halo 3, ODST, and a few of the newer demos so I don't know if I can be fixed as of yet without getting a new console. I guess wait and see if Microsoft gives a fix. Sorta screwed if they don't because you've modified your console. Also by got a new harddrive and inserting a key. Do you not have a microsoft harddrive? Because with the new update coming out in like a week or 2 your xbox can't use any harddrives except microsoft ones...
Edit: Don't bother trying formatting your harddrive or anything. The NXE update is installled on your console itself and not harddrive from what I understand... |
