Considering that this company is in with Microsoft they probably got a 360 before anybody else to get the jump on Halo 3. Makes sense if you think about it. The people who make your best selling games getting the hardware first so they can get a head start.

well considering that Bungie MAY have had access to dev kits before anyone else and that the ps3 MAY not hit North America until early 07, there is a slight possibility that it will counter the ps3 release, i am not losing any sleep hoping for that though, i can wait till late 07- mid 08 its not like halo is the only game worth playing there will be plenty to keep us busy the next couple of years to be sure, and when it is finally time for halo3 to come onto the scene i pray that they take all the time they need to get it right.

i dont think that Micro$oft can succesfully launch Halo 3 to counter the PS3, because if next spring the PS3 comes out, Halo 3 is ready for it, US end of 2006 and Europe Spring 2007, i can see M$ holding it back from US and UK for extra 9 months-year for the releases of PS3 in other regions. i think that they need to have a killer app released when the consoles does, so in spring get Gears of War ready to launch, xmas time Halo 3 and then spring next year, i dunno Too Human or something. basically M$ need some Killer apps for the 360 around the time of the PS3 launch in the seperate regions

It would be awsome but it wont happen it will be released in 2007. A worker at Game stop told me that it was officially going to be released in 2007 and that is good because of how good the game can be because of the time they will have.
