this is a stupid question but you gotta do what you gotta do so about 360
internet connection port, do u just use use a reg internet cable?

its callled an ethernet cable, its in the back of your Xbox, and it sohlud plug in to the back of your modem.

i use a router then just hook a ethernet cable to the computer router then hook the other end of the cable to the xbox it is simple if u have a router

If by internet cable, you mean Cat5e or Cat6, then yes.
