Madden 2006 on Xbox360

EA Sports has just launched a new site for the next NFL game in the Madden series, Madden 2006. While it is mainly focused on the game as it will be appearing for the current generation of gaming devices (PC, Xbox, PS2, etc), there is still a wealth of information available.

For 16 years, Madden NFL football has been the definitive gridiron video game experience. With enhancements to the passing game, defensive improvements, and expanded online options, Madden NFL 06 takes you onto the field and into the locker room like never before.

- New QB Vision Control: Use the right analog stick to find open receivers heading for paydirt.
- New QB Precision Placement: Use the left analog stick to lead a receiver to an open area, throw away from a defender, and more.
- NFL Superstar Mode: Create a Superstar and guide his life on and off the field. Choose an agent, earn one of 60 personas, and live the superstar life.
- Enhanced Broadcast Presentation: Authentic new camera angles, improved graphics, and new commentary and cutscenes that provide the look and feel of a real NFL broadcast.
- All-New Truck Stick Control: Deliver big hits on offense to break tackles and pancake defenders.

The Madden series has always done pretty well for Microsoft, they launched the original Xbox console with the game available, and you should be looking for this title on the shelves as well when you pickup the console at launch date.

I hope it is released in the UK with online play, I love the Madden series.

As much as I hate to do it, I will have to buy Madden NFL 2006 and contribute to EA. At least NBA 2K5 is still around.

LOL it has online play and its alright. You should hear the people on it, they get all into the game like its real life and run their mouths I mean yelling and profanity like crazy. Kind of takes away from the joy of the game. Message to the people out there thats like that, ITS JUST A FREAKIN GAME!!!

Yeah somthing like that, Ive met some pretty nice guys on Madden and others have not been so great.

I just rented the game, the graphics blew me away.... i heart xbox 360

yeah it is pretty but only 2 players is stupid and no challanging call

well I am pretty sure they'd limit the challenges like in the real NFL...as for just 2 players...its better then one...but I guess I am so used to a few of my friends getting together on the old NFL2K games and using us against whomever online...you win some you lose some but bringing more people in the mix just makes sense to me

Amazing Quality... i love zooming in on the instant replay optiuon and looking at the finest details... however the players eyes kinds freak me out...

i hope that madden 07 will have superstar mode because thats the one mode i miss from 06 on my360.... im about to buy it for the ps2 cuz i miss it so much
