With every passing year gamers are subjected to gamers both good and bad interactive experiences. If I was to be brutally honest, people love a loser far more than a winner becomes sometimes we gamers get some amount of twisted enjoyment out of seething our hatred upon something we know is a piece of complete and utter feces. So for the year 2009, I offer up to you the top 20 video games that made me scream in anger, roll my eyes with annoyance, and curse at the sky with dismay. I have a feeling that at least one of these titles resulted in a broken console, controller, or at the very least a cracked television. This list is just one person's opinion and there are many of my choices that you may simply disagree with, or whole-heartedly agree with – either way let’s take a walk down memory lane 2009 – even if the walk is one of agony.

i had the opposite view of the ghostbusters game, so i wouldnt have put it on the list. I came in thinking it would be utter crap because it was a movie game and assumed it would destroy my longstanding love of the series. Because of that assumption, i was happily suprized and rather enjoyed the game. Perception is everything i guess

COD is my favourite too , such a disappointment. (PC primarly)

Just look GT guys , they stamped GOTY to MW2 for PC. My personal vote goes to Batman , that's a huge applause for a small developer that made it, they deserve it.

what about halo 3? it was so dumb it should make the list 2 times.

id put ODST on that list. how dissapointing is it to think ur GamingGamingGaminging a full game then realize its just a short expansion and you paid too much.. lol.

Im not sure what my GotY would be but yea, Batman would definatly be in the final 3, no question. Hell.. what came out this year that was GOOD..lol. Batman and Dragon Age... anything else? lol

I only played the demo of X-men Origins but was pleasantly surprised with the experience, especially for a movie licensed game. Not enough to purchase the game full price but I'll probably try to pick it up for GamingGamingGamingGamingGaming somewhere down the road. Heard great things about Ghostbusters from those who played it as well. Most of the games I had no expectations that they would be good, so I wouldn't consider myself surprised or disappointed.

i dont agree halo3 should be on the list. it wasnt even released in 09..
it also wasnt a bad game at all.

and ODST being an expansion pack priced as a full game, as well as being a bit light on the story puts it in a well diserved spot on the list. and by the way, i stick to my original assumption. "if you GamingGamingGaming ODST you are an IDIOT".

however, i am interested in that animation mooovie coming out. i hate the game, but i found the story interesting...at least parts of it.

cod 6 was a disappointment far too short i don't care about GamingGamingGamingGamingGamingGaming play and the overzealous fanboys annoy me

dragon age is just another one of bioware's rehahses of baldurs gate 2 which al their games have been for the past 10 years

sims 3 was also a huge disappointment betetrgraphics then 2 but thats all its more a step back to sims 1 then it was a step forward and pretty graphics alone don't make a game
