When is Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Co-op maps come out!!!

I've been waiting for a while, and getting a little upset that there hasnt been a download for co-op maps that i saw on OMX.

There was a download for 2 co-op maps but there was a problem with them so they had to be withdrawn(but that was ages ago).

Ive read something about those maps, they are like done, but for some reason they arent released.

And ubisoft is busy with Splinter Cell 4 of course.

I have decided to create this thread after getting tired of reading endless complaining and whinning on Ubisoft Official Forums.

Sorry guys. No one needs to tell us that you're annoyed. We very much understand and again apologize for this delay. Problems of all sorts have arisen over the course of the past month and even though we've fought them down, more have sprung up in their path.

The good news is that people from both Ubisoft and Microsoft are hopeful that we've got the final problem nailed now. I'm crossing my fingers that we will see these maps inside the next couple of weeks and if we're lucky we'll have a certain polar base map ready for you. This new versus mode map is not only something we think you guys will love, but it should also be considered a thank you gift for your dedication to the game and a thank you for your patience.

I'm pushing to have all of those things ready at once for you all but if polar base isn't quite ready with the coop fix then I would advocate for the coop maps to come first and polar base when it's ready. I hope you guys are cool with that. I figured that at this point you're just ready for any new content at all so to get something out to you as soon as possible.

Again, our apologies for the delay but unforseen problems are, well, unforseen. Had we known it would take a month we would have tried to prepare you better for that. Thanks for your patience.

Q:What exactly happened to the downloadable content, why is it taking so long to fix, and what measures are being taken so that this does not happen again?

A : The downloadable content was removed from Xbox Live after a problem was discovered in those maps. The process takes time, for the simple reason that Ubisoft and Microsoft have to go through the phases of Testing and Posting again. The maps are being tested thoroughly to be sure this does not happen again.

Q : When will the maps be released ?

A : We expect them in a couple of Weeks. To Quote Rhoulette :


I don't have an exact timeline for you all and that's for the reason I always hesitate to give you guys exact date estimates: since there's never a guarantee with development (problems are always possible along the way), I don't want to give you guys a hard date because you'll be extremely upset and say that I lied to you if that date happens to change.
