May i give my opinion?

I think your kinda strange. You register, post like 2 things. Create multiple threads. Then start advertising for your clan. You want to be the biggest clan on the xbox 360 or something. Why dont you just wait till you got it and then play with people and see who you like. Now your getting people in your clan who you maybe when you play with them. They could be campers, teamkillers or worse.

And yes i know there are multiple threads about clans on this forum. But it seems like thats the only thing you care about.

By the way: fresh op your site, the whole layout stinks. i use 1024*768 and cant view it normal. Now dont scream of my pc stinks. Its the most used resolution so i use it too.

Well, I am strange, I am a 40 year old who plays vidio games. Before that, I lived on a school bus and followed The Grateful Dead around for 15 years.

Sorry I don't have hundreds of posts, I guess I just have lots of other interests.

If you had read closely, Vipersquad is a multi console clan, and we are active with xbox games. We are looking to carry into the 360 era.

We also have a trial period, to make sure recruits are compatible. Little chance of team killers getting through.

What if we do want to be the biggest clan, what do you care?

Sorry you don't like the site, what site do you administer? Maybe you have some constructive pointers to help improve the site, or are you just a troll?

Site improvement. Ok i tell you. Try some open source thing. Mambo or PHP Nuke. Great ready templates or make your own. Ive made multiple sites with them. Easy.

For the other stuff you said, and I. Ok your opinion, and mine. Not gonna flame here.

Apache Server, Open source
Mysql Open source
PHP open source
MKPortal open source.
IPB, not open source, but the best open souce forum software, phpbb is lame in my humble opinion. The out of box admin panel sucks, and the crew at Fully Modded are not my kinda people.

I am completely an advocate of opensource, my computers at home all run FreeBSD, The only microsoft product i endorse is xbox. (my laptop is a Powerbook, wich is built on FreeBSD. However, if i find a soolution that costs money, I will not turn away from it on some principle.

I am purely a mechanic, I can't code my way out of a paper bag LOL>

I also don't do graffix.

Sorry open source website program thing. Try www.mamboserver.com or www.phpnuke.org. Im just 15, dont know like supermuch about building websites. But those 2 things are easy. Just upload the zip file you download to your website root and then you get a install if you go too your webadress. After that you get a admin interface were you can log in with your account and can change all things of your website, like the template, news, or install new modules like forums, chatbox, kinda anything.

But you should search a bit around for tutorials for installing if you dont understand it.

I have installed and used php nuke several times. It has some advantages, but its major draw back for me is that it comes with phpbb installed as part of the distro. http://mkportal.com is similar to php nuke, but is independant of a forum. It integrates with PHPbb IPB and Vbulletin as well as several others, It requires no modifications of the forum code, and theefore easy to upgrade. Its drawback is the same as every other portal software, it all looks the same. Dude just becaue your 15 means nothing, anyone who can install php nuke or others are way ahead of most people who use the internet. I am amazed everyday because i meet people who do not know what FTP is lol.

Then you should try mambo, if you dont like php nuke.
