is there a way to play xbox live without having to disconnect cable from computer every time u want to play it?

A router. They are cheap now. Get a wireless router if you have the money.

Yea I have a Linksys Router, and a wireless Linksys Adapter for my xbox.

If you have the cash get a xbox 360 wireless adapter and a liinksys router 802.11 g

Make sure the router is xbox live compatible. This will save you from a headache! xbox.com lists the compatible routers.

thanks everyon e i checked out xbox.com and have an idea which to get. i wondered what do u need to get a wireless one? they dont seem much more then regular but i wanna be sure it will work 4 me.

although wireless works well for most people, I reccomend not going wireless with an xbox. Your computers are fine, but wireless is has a lower bandwidth than a wired ethernet connection. In most cases, you would not notice a difference, but in a room, with 16 players, grenades being thrown, stuff being blown up, you could experience some lag. 99 times out of 100 wireless will work perfectly, but why not make sure. besides, its a little cheaper to remain wired. I have lynksys stuff, including the wireless game adapter. I went back to an ethernet cable. Wireless is cool, but in my opinion, for gaming, stay with a wire.

Purp, i used wireless to play LIVE and i never had any problems, wireless gives you an advantage NO WIRES, so you have to worry about your little brother playing with the cable and stuff, and it looks more neat around a house
