Peter Moore (Corporate VP for the Xbox) was recently interviewed by MTV, during which he said that developers Rare (makers of Perfect Dark Zero and Kameo) are currently working on two more projects for the Xbox 360.

The games have apprently been in development for around two years, and will be announced in Spring 2006. Nothing more specific has been said, but remember that Rare were the developers of the very popular Killer Instinct fighting game series. Could one of these new titles be an Xbox 360 version!?

Rare was purchased by Microsoft in 2002.

I can't wait to see what these genious have under the hat.

I'm hoping for Banjo Threeie and a sequel to Jet Force Gemini, two of my favourite Rare games from the N64 days. Of course they could be totally new games that Rare haven't produced in the past.

i hope one of them is a new killer instinct that game kicked but. i loved the snes game but didnt too much care for part 2 on the n64.

So am I. Both Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie were fantastic platformers. I'd even say BK was better than Super Mario 64. If they are indeed making Banjo-Threeie (and I really hope they are) then the 360 may well have a decent rival to Mario.

Donkey Kong 64 wasn't that good anyway, at least when you compare it to Donkey Kong Country, Conker, Banjo and so on.

I love those's games. Those two were my fav also with Donkey Kong and Star Fox.

I am hoping against hope that Rare will reagin it's form and once again become one of the greatest developers on the market for the 360.

As long as they don't delay games any more I'm fine.

Same - I don't believe they have been on form this generation. Starfox Adventures was OK, Grabbed By The Ghoulies was just ****e, Conker was a re-make so they couldn't really get it wrong anyway...I hope they do alot better with the 360.

I will love Banjo series and a Killer Instinct, please MS, please. I think Killer Instinct was the most addictive game for n64.
