Maybe We Should Wait To Get The XBOX 360!!!!!!!!!!

Now I know how hard it would be, but at least think about it, if you wait a few months, they will start making special edition xboxes, The halo version of the first xbox was so freakin much cooler than the plain regular one, I am just saying, that you may end up wishing you had waited, Me, I couldnt keep from buying it right away, although I wish I had gotten that special edition one, I will just get a special edition of the 360 if it comes out, but it could be worth your while to wait.

Yeah Im waiting until the PS3 comes out. If their graphics are better than the xbox 360 ill buy the PS3.

I'm not going to wait, just because the system looks cooler. The face plate is interchangeable, so I think that's good enough. If they come out with a unit with a few neon lights, and plexy glass covering, then I'll buy a second one.

Not to be rude though, I know what your trying to say. I've seen some pretty cool special edition systems in the past.

Im not waiting - but i would consider selling or trading my 360 later to get my hands on a black one. I think the black developer 360s look sweet

The devil himself couldnt keep me from getting it launch night, but if any really cool ones come out, Ill buy another, But Ive seen many people get the first one on opening night, and regret it. Im not trying to talk u out of ur current selection though, just trying to spark some thought on it, If there is someone who is not out of their freakin mind for it, but they will buy it anyways, Im just saying they will probobly benefit more from waiting. I am happy to see people so passionate about getting it at launch, I hope that the 360 out does the ps3 by far. The ps2 let me down, that is y I got my xbox, which I love.hey does anyone know when the black one will come out?

You can beat new colors will launch in conjuction of the PS3, and Revolution. Along with a price reduction, and/or a bundle pack.

That's an educated guess, but there have been no official words on when the new colors will come out.

Like everyone else, I want mine on launch day. If a Special Edition 360 came out later that I really wanted, then I'll sell my launch 360 and buy the SE as I don't need two 360's (unless my wife gets into Xbox Live

Hummm... I understand what you're saying... Although in my case, I believe the initial version is very nice (and I don't really care about the looks of the system as long as the original design is nice)...
The only thing that could make me wanna wait is the price cause if PS3 makes it out in spring 2006 (which I seriously doubt...) you can bet M$ is going to lower the price of the 360. And if that happens, I could be disappointed knowing that I bought the same system only 4-5 months ago and paid 50 or 100 euros more !!!

BUT, if we get an official price for the PS3 launch (just before the 360 launches) and that it's over the 360 launch price, then I guess the wait would be useless cause M$ is already lower: GET IT AT LAUNCH !!!

If only I could get that PS3 launch price...

To be honest, there's no point in waiting for a special-edition 360, as chances are it'll just be a special faceplate which you'll be able to buy off eBay anyway.

The PS3 is rumored to cost even more than the xbox 360 to make, quite a bit more, and yes I know its still rumor, but the price point could be 100 to 150.00 more than the xbox360 premium system. What incentive does this give microsoft to lower the price? None if they are already going to be 100.00 cheaper. I don't see a price drop for at least a year, and if they do it will probably be no greather than 25 to $50.00 Or they will start selling it at the same price with a in house game bundled or something.

I want mine on launch day, I was never into anything "special editon" or" limited editon ". I just want the xbox 360 for what it is a gaming platform I never saw the need to buy the special editon games cause I would never watch the extra dvd they usually include so I just figure save my money buy buying regualr edition.

they will start lowering when they get less sales so they can keep getting a good constant amount of money.

Well if you keep your stuff in good condition, like i do, and keep your original boxes, like i do, you'd be suprised how much you can get for your system if you wanted to sell it down the road once a new edition comes out....

as far as the Ps3 goes and a price drop, the current spring 06 release date is for JAPAN!!!!!! people!, so dont expect to be able to compare graphics for the ps3 and 360 until NEXT XMAS!!! at the least...

and by then the 360 games will take advantage of the system power far more than they already do now...

i personally cant wait to be having both of them standing side by side in my room, the twin towers, black Ps3 and white 360, good and evil...
