Can Pdz Beat Halo 2?!

They are both first person shooters, but halo 2 was the best game on xbox to most people, however, pdz is on the next gen console, but do you think that is enough to push it past halo 2, I would love to hear your thoughts on this, being a fan of halo 2, it is a very difficult choice for me, but maybe your minds are set on one or the other, post your thoughts.

Enjoyed Halo and Halo 2 on Xbox like everyone else. Do I think PDZ can beat it? Maybe..probably. Guess we'll know in a little over 3 weeks. It's definately looking like it could beat it, but thats just my opinion.

As far as single player is concerned, PDZ may beat Halo 2. Halo 2's campaign was too short and didn't have much replayability. Multiplayer is a different matter, but we'll see on PDZ's launch if it beats Halo 2 or not. I hope it does.

personally, i think PDZ is being way to overhyped and will be a huge dissapointment

Halo 2 will own all 360 launch titles. If any has a chance, it is Gears of War.

PD0 will not put a dent in Halo 2's domination. I agree with squire, PD0 is just a hype generator for launch. It will be forgotten in a few months. Then the good games will come out.

I doubt pdz will be as good as halo1/2 but then again i consider them to be in the top 5 fps's ever so as long as its a good game ill be pleased.

It will all come to multiplayer, if it's balanced enough, glitch free enough, fun enough, easy enough to navigate, all these things.....Bungie achieved success on every level w/ multiplayer.
I think it'll all come down to getting a good matchmaking system down, so the matches are as fair as possible......will it be better? I think probably not, but it may be more popular, just because Halo is almost a year old. I played halo every day for months, but not so much anymore.

And I think the single player has a good chance of being better, H2 was disappointing single player........

What about quake 4? There's potential there for a sleeper hit w/ that game.

if pdz is anything like the first one it will be great because they understood that peple wanted to play many people at a time but they were ahead of their time and had to make bots but it supported 15 bots plus you the most action in any game at the time now that they have the capabilities it should turn for the best but it will have to pull out all the stops to beat a monster such as halo 2

i agree quake will be a sleeeper hit its alredy huge on pc and now youll be able to play with those pc owners as well if they sign up for the small extra fee

Since I thought Halo sucked *** {Been there done that on the computer years ago} I hope PD0 will out shine Halo...first off I like the cyberpunk near future world, thats a plus for me.

Plus CoOp on live will be amazing. I think PD0 with have more supstance in single player...interms of story line...and more of a interactive world.

Although from the videos it looks like run and gun shooter...I hope theres more to the game than that. Thats the only worry I have.

I think halo will alway come first, even though PDZ look realy good but what made halo was the vechiles in the game. PDZ has no vechiles in there game so I think no one's going to say "PDZ is better". You never dog on oldschool.

We know PDZ is going to be awesome multi-player-wise, with it's 30+ weapons, 4 auto-adjusting maps and Live Co-Op (plus no jump button, thank god and bots). So yes, multi-player wise, I believe it can beat Halo 2.

Also H2's campaign was mediocre, so do I think PDZ can beat it single-player wise as well? Yes, I do.

I have high hopes for this game, as we all do, and it's looking like we aren't going to be disappointed.

Actually, you're mistaken. There are vehicles in the game, as is evidenced in this article.

PDZ can beat Halo 2 campaign wise, but multiplayer will wait. Halo 2 took 1 day to beat (5 hours) for me and my friends.

I liked the campaign, but it was lacking in many ways. But multiplayer, i could never get tired of.

well with all of the hacks on the multi player aspect in Halo2 sucks...so if they can stop that for 360 games it will improve ALL online gaming for me

Well Mr Bones, you are ttalking about two completely different games, halo 2 was th best seller and most popular game for xbox, and PDZ is not even out so nobody knows if its going to be a hit. Im waiting for PDZ because is the continuation of my favorite game for N64 perfetc dark, it looks like MOM will be really addictive like halo. I dont think one game will beat another game
