The Playstation 3 has come a very long way despite some vast obstacles since it was first introduced to the gaming community a few years ago and Sony could finally be very well positioned to not only have one of the best years in recent memory, but make this the year of the PlayStation 3. The superior amount of digital content streaming forth across the PlayStation Network has never been more concise giving gamers a wider selection than was previously available for the system. Additionally, by slimming the console last year and enhancing several features via system updates, Sony seems to be positioning the console as the system to own in 2010.

Metfanant, this is NOT the first time he has talked about the pros of the PS3. If you had been here longer than a month or two, you would have seen that. So stop basing everything off of the couple articles you have CHOSEN to read, and go back and find some other articles to get COMPLETELY filled in.

in his last few articles, if u actually read them though, they all said positive things about the ps3. i guess u didnt get past the title for lack of pictures though.. LOL.

no one console is 100% better than the other. they all have their strengths and weaknesses and they are all preference. I have a 360 and ps3 yet i will argue the 360 is better all day from sunday. Erik is exited because he found things to like about the PS3 and has a new adventure to go on. That doesnt mean tomorrow this site is gonna be called planetps3.

all in all, as long as LBP keeps ragin on, ill keep turning on my ps3. with the conclusion of god of war, its really the only game i really love on the ps3 thats still going. unless they release an HD remake of FF7

and remix, you said somethign about god of war, i never read any review about it of whatever but the vids looked crappy to me, so i downloaded the demo and tried it months later and it was so horrible i couldn't finish it. did the reviews agree that it sucked dick?

no, its very high rated. the game is great. it starts epic.. then it has its traditional "you get urself fucked and lose all your powers" moment and u spend the rest of the game rebuilding them crap which also happened in the first 2 games. Other than that it was a fun ride from start to finish with plenty of epic moments. having sex w/ aphrodite is a funny mini game
