xbox 360 & people saying things about preordering

some people are saying that u can preorder the xbox 360 that is false at the moment. stores like ebgames, gamestop, bestbuy, circuit city and toys r us don't have it. but some of the stores i listed u can only preorder the games for the xbox 360. i know because i emailed ebgames and gamestop and went online and ckecked for best buy. at circuit city and toys r us and u can't even order the games. when i emaile ebgames and gamestop asking can i perorder the xbox 360 online or in stores and how much does it cost full price and when does it come out in the usa ebgames said then i will post what gamestop said

Nope. Maybe you should trek on down to the local Gamestop or EBgames, as I pre-ordered my Xbox 360 last Friday- $50 bucks down, pay the rest either before or on the day of launch.

If you haven't alrady heard, over 300,000 pre-orders have been submitted. Feel free to join the club.

geez i preordered mine in may. i'm on the first shipment and i'm numero uno at my gamestop.

In the U.K. it seems to be a regional thing whether stores are taking deposits or not. My local Gamestation isn't taking preorders at the moment, but a good friend and member on here, Real Maximo, has been able to put down a £100 deposit in his local Gamestation.

So you may find one Gamestop in one town is taking preorders, while another in another town isn't taking preorders, but they are all the same chain of stores.

I pre ordered yesterday for 399.00 version you have to go to the store I seen nothing about being able to pre order on their websites. But in store they have signs saying pre order your xbox 360. Also I am in first shipment also.

Just so people know...Game in Nottingham are still taking pre orders for the 360 premium package (i pre ordered yesterday) but are not taking orders for the core package (they said theres no point lol!).I know one website said they were sold out and not taking anymore pre orders but this isnt true. Get in there while you can

I preordered mine in early July and I called awhile ago and they said I would get the first shipment, then about a month after that I went to the store and asked what shipment I would get and they said first. But when I went today to GameStop they said I had no chance of getting the first shipment. So mostlyc likely I will take my money(and never go to GameStop again for anything) and go some where else that is first come first serve.

The best place for preorders (even though i didnt use them) is Toys r Us as it seems they are geting the biggest batch of 360's
