Need an opinon

I have never played a RPG or anything like final fantasy i just play shooting games and sport games and i kind of wanna try one out u think that if i played the new final fantasy i would like it or will not understand the story.

You're a narrow-minded fool if you honestly believe that. And don't think you have any credibility with me just because you have 500+ posts. RPG's are awesome.

I'd suggest Oblivion, that game gives you the freedom to do anything and the graphics and gameplay look downright amazing!

Try renting one first before laying out the money, if you find out you like buy it. Everyone should have an open mind.

I highly recommend Oblivion. Final Fantasy games tend to be more linear and the combat is very repetative. Elder Scrolls is definitely the preferred RPG. Check it out!

How are fights in oblivion? are they like ff (final fantasy) you know, you choose a move and attack, then the other choose a move and attack or is it more action-like?

yes i like many others before me suggest oblivion. if you want to go with a final fantasy game though go with 7 for the ps1, best game in the world.

oh and @ xpitbull no the fights in oblivion are all real-time like hack and slash games

man, im tellin u, the fights in oblivion r off the hinge. you can block then when they like, bounce off your shield, you can swing in different ways, to hit them, and if you r going to give a rpg a chance, GO WITH OBLIVION, ffa is awesome, but to really enjoy it you have to go online, and that costs 10 bucks a month, even if you already have gold, it is 10 bucks 4 just that game.and as was said, ffa is much more linear, you have 1 thing to do, and you have to do it. oblivion, you just do wut eva tha hell you want. kill someone, and take their stuff, or help the person, and they will probobly give you something special, none of that You have to kill him b4 you can do anything.

Dude, i cant even explain to u how amazing they are. If uve seen the 20 min videos, u know. Just from watching the videos makes u feel like u and another guy are bashing swords together. If just watchin the vids makes me feel like this, then i cant wait to find out what actually playing feels like.

there has yet to be a single mmorpg that is quality and ffxi deffinately fits in that...its a terrible level mill. If you like to kill endless amouts of rats to level then thats the game for you...i would also suggest oblivion

he is saying that oblivion is alot better and that final fantasy 11 will be 4 those who want to kill alot of petty things just to level up, which i kinda agree with, oblivion is gonna b tight.
