Posts: 1,004    |  Zero Hour Secret Location! Source:360updates It’s not that we intend to gatecrash the big Xbox 360 launch event, we just enjoy a challenge. So we called up Chet, he picked us up in his old jalopy, and we did a little sleuthing, in the end determining the location of the “undisclosed” Xbox 360 launch event. It’ll be held at Plant 42 on the Sierra Highway in Palmdale, California, a city that calls itself the “aerospace capital of the world” (which explains why the Xbox event will be held inside an airport hangar). The clue that lead us to the location was this Flickr stream by a winner of the Zero Hour contest. One nifty tidbit also gleaned from same Flickr stream: many if not all of the Xbox 360s at the event will be configured to play on Xbox Live. A 3000-man LAN party with catered food does sound like a lot of fun. Woe be to the sucka that sneaks in a cheat bot on a thumbdrive, though.

Posts: 341 | They are just asking for trouble because I will bet that even people that are not invited to attend are going to crash the party. I am not sure how many invites are going out but if twice as many people show up then it will get crazy fast. Probably get some people to do a snatch and run and plenty of other things.
