Bad news for some People who preordered!!!!

Im sure that this doesnt include any of you but I recieved this email from a company that I preordered from months ago but then cancelled about a month ago. I guess this is proof that the shortage is pretty bad. I dont see how this is great news unless theyre are being sarcastic.


Dear GameConker Customer:

More great news from GameConker!!!

GameConker has just been informed that we are not getting allocation
for the November 22, 2005 release date; Microsoft did not put out enough
to cover the demand on the Xbox 360.

GameConker has spoke with three distributors, the first distributor is
not getting any at all allocated to them, and the second distributor
said its worse then what they thought, and that distributor is not
looking to start filling orders fully until February of 2006. The third
distributor says they are only getting one shipment in before Christmas and
they don’t know how many at this time.

GameConker apologizes for this awful mess; GameConker is starting to
fully refund its customers immediately.

GameConker will fill orders as the Xbox 360 becomes available. If you
like to be put on our availability list please let us know immediately.

GameConker will keep our Customers informed of the current status, and
as soon as we know for sure when the Xbox 360s become available, we
will notify you immediately.

Again, GameConker is sorry for this; I know for some of you this was a
big Christmas gift; Microsoft should have been prepared for the demand.

GameConker wants to thank all of you so much for coming to us and
ordering from us.

P.S. Let us know if you would like us to hold your orders until we can
fill them.

GameConker will be stocking the Xbox 360s when they become available.

Yeah that sounded pretty funny What is Gameconker? i have not heard of it before.

I hadnt either but I was doing some searches on Google and found them, they are just a small-time game dealer. Ive ordered xbox games off of them before and they are very helpful, excellent customer service. It sux they cant get any 360's, before I cancelled my preorder with them I was number 52 in line for one so there are a lot of people who are going to be out on launch unless they go to walmart or somewhere else.

There probably not popular or spread out enough to get systems. Why did you cancel your pre order. Are you going to walmart at midnight or somthin.

Their distributor required that 4 games be sold with each system but I couldnt afford it at the time so I just cancelled the order. I went ahead and preordered off of a guy I buy electronics off of that I met on eBay.

I think theyre just on online store based in Michigan. They usually have good deals on games and systems. They have on there website that they wont have the 360's until February 1st which sux for them.
