its ny post, not times. get to know the difference, cuz times is well respected, and trustworthy, while the post is one of the most ridiculed and distrusted papers in the country, if not the world. it is thought of as the equivelant of a tabloid.
p.s.- kornbred only one post is necesary at a time, try to put everything that ur thinking at the moment in one post, if u think of something to add right after posting press edit. so please do not fill up the forum with post # boosting.

He has some good points, but most of them I disagree with. And if he thinks 50 Cent: Bulletproof is a "hot holiday game", well, most of his credibility is ruined in that one statement...

The author must think we are all MTV kids or something, I havent played Bulletproof yet and I dont really think I want to. The 360 and its launch games have completely taken over any talk of games for current generation consoles.

i am not post boosting and 2nd it was the times that leaked the agents name, are you like 12 because you have no clue what you are talking about. oh and pitt those cold hard facts, you are right they are facts but they are misleading at best.

Ok there are a few inconsisentcies going on here, you want the high Def graphics the full experience it costs 40 bucks. next it is the largest and first worldwide launch ever. EVER!
and no there not fighting for 2nd because only Them and Sony are in the race as nintendo is the side console. so boo hoo new york post boo hoo

Lets flash forward to next week.......I'll come on here and post something to the effect of, "Dude, I played COD2, and it RULES!".
You really think somebody is going to say, "Oh yeah? Well I played the new 50 cent game man......jokes on you!"
Please.......they have a solid lineup of launch titles, way better than they had for xbox 1.......hell, Halo was the ONLY reason to have the xbox for the first few years anyway.

Here's the thing: M$ has its eyes on the FUTURE of gaming. I doubt they are trying to win the console war w/ 360, just get another good foothold in the market now, then take over in the next next generation. Taking on Sony was HUGE, and that fight will go on for a long long time.

No matter what your system can do, it all comes down to games. The people who give you the best games will win. There's not a person here who would play a crappy game just because it looks good.

So, in my mind, the future of games is all about replayability. How can you get people to play your game over and over.......the answer, IMO, is online. That keeps you coming back again and again. And M$ really looks like their online strategy will (Again), kick the crap out of sony's.......

I for one won't wait a year to see how Sony can make a stupid online service. I'll be busy in matchmaking on Halo3, and not regretting a thing.

And that article was pretty biased.......you have to say SOMETHING positive and well thought about the 360, not just, "You can't play Battlefront 2". Who cares about that game? I won't be thinking about those games when I'm playing PDZ, I'm sure.

That's my two cents.......

obviously u have no idea what ur talking about, times didnt leak anything, the gov't did, and they had to give to a newspaper that gives real news, so they gave it to the times. the times saw an opportunity and took it, all american media would do this, so the times didnt really do anything wrong, they only took what the government gave them. and i dont expect a company to be more responsible than the government. u wud never see a story that big in the post. im not saying that ther that good either, im just saying that its trustworthy in the sens that people read it for real news, and such. the post is always known to be unreliable. but enuf talk about newspapers, this is after all a video game site, so dont challenge people on politics and such, especially if u have no idea what ur talking about.

new technolgy costs money..period. I am curious if this same author will consider roasting Sony if the rumours of the very high ticket price for ps3 become reality. For what you get 400 dollars is a deal, we all know it...it is part of the reason each and everyone of us would much rather get the premium package. As for no games? Uh the guy is off his rocker with that one. First it is launching with 18-19 of its own...and most thus far seem to be getting good to great reviews. Plus backwards compatible, but I am pretty sure the list of compatible games were to be updated down the road...I mean if they could throw in 200 titles in this amount of time, who's saying they couldn't get most if not all of the rest in during the nest few months? As for being biases I do have to agree. The guys positive points were worded as if they are just meaningless. Like, " oh yeah it looks amazing...ho hum",...."but don't get it cuz I say so" Huh? As consumers of technology we all know the next best thing is around the corner, but if we are always waiting for the next best thing instead of buying and trying the current best thing....we'll never get anything. I mean with this guys thinking no one should have gotten a playstation cuz gosh boys and girls someday we'll have ps2. And isn't the point of paying more for something like this, is just to say "yes I got it on day one, I've been there all along?"

its misleading because he say 400 bucks is too much, what a new graphics card cost 500 bucks the 360 is a steal ms is losing 75bucks a console

Actually the PSP had I think 18 or 17 games launched too. The Xbox 360 does have a big launch, but does it mean anything. It means how is the quality of those games. You could have 100 games lauched and they are all crap. I think it isn't that big. The PSP had about the same amount and it is a portable system too. I think xpitbull can comprehend. One more flamming post and I will report you.

i pity this author, he is stuck in the past, it is time to move forward and hd is gonna be the norm in a very short time, true the 360 is going to cost a pretty penny, but gaming has evolved and we are no longer content with a console that simply plays games, we want it to hold our music, get us online, be bw compatable, and theres plenty more that we have come to expect, so now pay for it! he had better rant on how the ps3 is gonna be $500 when it comes out.

ya this author is a jack... he really doesnt know what the .... he is talking about. it is time to move towards the hd era and enjoy the faboulus games that will be coming out for the 360 in the coming years
