I knew there would be shortages, but 850,000 units defective?!?!? WTF are you reading joe? i would say 100 at the most. That number is like all the 360s the world will see at launch.

Just something the manager at my EB told me today. Look I'm not trying to start anything you guys know me...I'm just repeating what I was told...period. He said the reason they were told is because of all of these faulty units, and that it pretty much cut everyones allocation in half. Thats it...take it anyway you want. I believe that there were problems with the system in product...was it 850,000? No I doubt that. But I would believe afew thousand sure. I mean if production went according to plan wouldn't every kiosk be in place by now? I'm not concerned for myself, I'd be concerned if you plan on camping out at a store or something. True or not the guy was like," I dread that day because of allll of the preordered systems that were supposed to be here now won't be" He pretty much is expecting hours of pissed off customers...lol

That speculation, i dont think a contest will lead to a shortage of something so anticipated. Althought it might have play a role in all these, 1 x360 every 10 minutes is a lot. But thats not mainly the problem

thing that gets me, everyone is saying that the 2nd shipment will be huge compared to the first then why is it only a week away. How does one week put the difference between so little to so many. Could it be that they tried to ship as many as they could using planes and now they are going to ship the rest using ships. I don't think it will hurt to tell the community except denying why not give us some information. I geuss we will find out at Hatch on monday.
