Live problems?

Is anyone else getting the error message when they try to recover their account? I've tried about ten times and it just says "error, the operation cannot be performed right now, please try again later"

i know what happened. u need a gamercard on the xbox.com u have to create one. then you can recover it. i wa reading it in my OXM.

I was over my friend's house after school, and he has the same problem so we couldn't get it to work either. I suggested the gamercard thing but it said he was too young even though his entered age is 19.

Same thing happened to me you have to make a new passport account then it works.

Were any of you previously banned? (no need to answer pit) If so, your ISP number may be banned from XBL.

Not that I know, I don't get a 360 til Monday, maybe, if I'm good.

I had zero problems as I already had mine linked through xbox.com. Also I retrieved my friends gamercard and also signed up a passport through him directly on the Xbox360 with almost zero problems, once its true it couldn't connect so I tried again 20 minutes later and it was fine. Probably just so many people logging on to change things it overloaded their servers. I've had absolutely no problems with live. In fact I chatted with a friend all day while playing Career mode on Need for Speed MW which was awesome
